Third person in VR makes no sense to me the whole point as i see it is to be immersed in the world to feel as if your there yourself, you cant get that in a third person view it ends up being just a game with poor camera controls that doesn't look as good if you didn't have it running in VR, either have it first person or don't bother.
I've never used a VR headset, but I dont understand the purpose of teleporting. Why isn't there just a left analog stick you can move around the environment with? Is that what causes people to feel sick?
That will cause a lot of people to feel sick, yes.
if it's done right and the framerate holds it's perfectly fine using the left stick or / WASD for control and very few get sick, but the key is the framerate has to remain high and smooth enough, Dreadhalls on the Rift is a great example of this and you can run like crazy in that game.
I didn't get FC 4 because it seemed to much like FC 3 just in a different location which i guess for some would be ok but for me i wanted something different it's the issue i had with the Assassins Creed series.
This at least is different and the setting seems fun makes a change from running and gunning, hunting with my animal companion and using hand made weapons etc seems far more interesting to me, I have ordered the game so will see for myself when it arrives but I think i'll enjoy this.
I still dislike the "real" ending (the one they chose) because it invalidates everything you achieved during the game. The whole game was about saving Chloe, and to throw everything away felt like a cop out. That said, it didn't spoil my overall enjoyment of the whole game. It was fantastic and I'm really looking forward to what Dontnod do next. Cheers GB East for playing through this!
I don't believe the whole game was that, i felt it was to drive home the opposite that's why things got worse every time Max changed it, The game gives a great message i feel of what is meant to be is meant to be even if you could go back and change it there will always be a outcome that isn't good.
Found myself skipping through Austin's bit after watching half of it. Sorry if the punchline drops in the end but maaaaan that was worse than Jeff's GOTY bit last year.
I watched all of it and it was sorta interesting, since I've got some interest towards miniatures, but if there was suppose to be any amusing bits in that, they just went way over my head. I was mostly expecting there to be another part where he'd start messing up and eventually just take a hammer to the model.
I'm still excited to see the rest, though if all of them are webcam/periscope made, that might be a bit of a bummer. Can't really blame them, I guess, since the whole office moving did happen at a bad time.
your clearly not getting the joke at all, It's supposed to be webcam / periscope like if you watched the beginning and what Drew said to them.
Kojima is still someone Japan looks to for games Microsoft has pretty much no presence there so he wouldn't go just to them, Sony or Nintendo were the only choices for him if he wanted to go console exclusive.
