There are some PSVR games they missed like Eagle Flight and Robinson the Journey. Are the guys done with PSVR? The last update fixed some tracking issues.
I think since GB had issues on the first day getting it to work well both in the studio and at home they pretty much gave up on it so yeah there has been a bunch of stuff that could have been part of the rodeos like you said Eagle flight, Robinson the journey are ones they could have looked at, Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin is another that is pretty fun.
Since the update came out Jeff has said he wants to get back into PSVR so hopefully that will happen and they add some PSVR stuff to the next rodeo.
I wonder if they are going to watch these in time line order or Movie release order, I would say it's better to do it in time line order ie have Tokyo drift before F&F 7 and not play it as the Third Movie it would make more sense.
Have to say the more i see and hear about the game the less interested in it I become There Isn't anything that the game has shown that is yelling at me to buy it, also there are other more interesting games for me that are out before and not long after it's release ie Horizon zero dawn, Nier Automata and Persona 5.
I may pick it up at some point but it's not an essential purchase.
Wow wasn't expecting Jeff to give this a five I thought he might have gotten burned out with the Far cry games to not be that interested in that style of open world game and gone with a Three or four tops, The killzone series has been decent but nothing I would rate outstanding so when they announced this I wondered if they could do something different I'm glad to see not only were they able to pull it off but do it very well, I see other reviews give it high praise also will for sure pick this up I just wish it wasn't packed in with other games that i'm interested in such as Nier Automata and Persona 5.
@Brad the violin Sound is to indicate that the Sun, rain etc is about to run out, as they are needed to replenish resources it's best to keep an eye for them and use them as soon as they appear.
@larmer: Well I think ER implies daily updates. For this one, they already recorded the whole damn thing and they're just putting out a video every day. For the Persona 4 ER, they would record multiple at a time but they didn't do the whole thing and then put out a video every day.
To me I care less about the daily update than I do about full game playthroughs, which I think GB excels at but sometimes is reluctant to do as I previously said. I agree with @ripelivejam though that it's not that big of a difference. I just feel like with Dan GBEAST will be very willing to do this kind of content which is great.
So it's kind of a silly label but in general just means every day updates. The name originally came from the fact that Persona 4 was so damn long and I think they wanted to see how long they could play it every day. I was just actually listening to old Bombcasts and Vinny talked about his previous experience with the series and how he had trouble making it through 3. They ended up getting really into 4 so it worked out.
If you missed the past ones, it is nice to come to GB every weekday and see a new video.
the persona 4 ER was one of the first things I watched on this site and was the reason I became a premium member AND the reason I went out found a ps2 and gotmyself persona 4. MY GOD such great stuff - from them making fun of the game in the beginning to being sucked in by the story...that silence when they thought nanako was going to die and the question vinny asked jeff oh man. Such beautiful beautiful content. Doubt the story here will be as good and expect we will miss Jeff but eh will be fun none the less.
There is Persona 5 to come in February I'm sure Vinny and Jeff will do something for that.
Alex saying you can't go through terrain is wrong you can you just need to find and develop the upgrade to your multi-tool to do it, it's how you can survive some of the more hostile environments if your suit isn't up to it by blasting through a mountain etc to make a shelter or go through to an already developed cave system, or just do it for exploring purposes if that takes your fancy.
