So I realized something that a lot of you probably didn't notice but I found after browsing through the wiki.

The heart you receive from The Outsider is the Empresses, or at least possesses the soul of the Empress.

Hints at this:

The most obvious, the voice actress is the same as the voice of the Empress.

Granny Rags says "Nothing's been the same since her death! Poor child! Her spirit lives on – trapped – misused – and for what purpose?"

When used on Sokolov: "Anton Sokolov. He knew me once. And did much to set me on my path."

Finally, on Daud: "Why have you brought me here? Am I to forgive this man for what he did?"

As far as I'm concerned this is solid evidence. Sorry if you all already realized this but it kind of blew my mind as I wasn't paying a lot of attention at the beginning of the game.

Yeah it's a dash, once you get blink rank two and try to blink a longer distance you can clearly see yourself moving at high speeds

I'd suggest you try out WvW and sPvP when you get bored of regular PvE. There is a lot to the game that a lot of people stay away from and just focus on leveling, then they end up getting bored

If you are an existing member of our community and put together a video about a game and attach it to the correct forum, this is probably fine to share as long as it doesn't get out of hand.

This is the correct forum and I have posted a subject for discussion as well as the video, however if a moderator considers it spam I won't take offence :) I did look through the rules etc first though and didn't see a problem with this.

I just started an LP of this game because I think it's a really great game to record your unique experience playing it :) My hopes are that there won't be a point where I won't know what to do and I'll just run around aimlessly. Anyone who's got further into the game able to tell if that's a problem you run into?

I'm hoping the game IS as complex as it seems when playing it, and I'm not gonna run out of paths etc and end up being limited further down the line.

I probably do sub-consciously. I spend a lot of the time on the computer and it helps me forget about my real-world problems, for good or for bad.

I've got to say there are very few exceptions. Most of them feel like mini-games or scams.

Very good start! I feel like I've got a lot to live up to ;)
