Complaining that the characters don't have a Russian accent is a very silly complaint. They're Russians with an American dub, not Russians speaking English.
Oh, Jeff. You have no idea what anime fans watch and are willing to defend. This episode is honestly pretty low on the scale. If you are wondering how something like this episode ended up on Netflix, you should give Devilman: Crybaby a watch... And just to be clear - that show has some actual redeeming features, unlike 95 percent of the content on Cunchyroll.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, even something "mainstream" like Evangelion has some genuinely messed up stuff, both in the show itself and the movies.
It always weirds me out how people keep gushing about the Persona series' writing. At least P3-P5. They're all relying on common anime tropes I'd had enough of at 12 years old. And that's not getting into the bad VA, lazy translations, the homo/trans-phobia and pedo stuff. I guess some people think student/teacher relationships are OK as long as the teacher is hot enough. Talk about undermining your own themes.
Rumbleverse was seemingly made for me but I find the art style so soulless it borders on abhorrent. It actively repels me, and even though I downloaded the game I turned it off and uninstalled after creating my avatar.
It's bad Fortnite, and I already hate Fortnite's artstyle and how it makes every franchise it envelops somehow look more generic than the last.
I find it really uncomfortable how so much of the Twitter-verse and games media decided to drag Forspoken through the coals over a year before it came out. Judging from trailers and the demo it seems like a 6-7/10 game but the whole discourse has been nasty from the start for very little reason, and every little awkward snippet of dialogue has been blown up to insane proportions. Nothing unusual for Square games but the discourse has been especially toxic this time around.
Grub is factually incorrect about the pixel remasters. They are not ROMS and are in fact remakes complete with new soundtracks. Also don't steal readily available games.
