From what I can tell this is a slightly better experience in docked than handheld mode? That puts me off a little bit because I much prefer playing Switch games handheld than on a television and I don't have a pro controller.

Bummer, I was hoping this would go in a more friendly direction, but they went the opposite way with it. Played an hour or two of the beta/demo decided it wasn't for me. I just don't know why a serious racing fan would play this instead of iRacing or Project Cars or why a more general racing fan would play it at all. Who is this for?
Wonder how the motion controls account for handheld mode...I don't want to shake an entire Switch on a plane or something and I almost never play that thing on the dock.
