@elektrobear: Wooooaaaaahh! Artemisia's Grave from Momodora 3 is high up there on my list of video game area BGMs. I never knew who did the music, good work!
@mehrdadkazem87: If a game is great, even if it isn't trying to be fun/entertaining, it inevitably will be because it's doing something great. GB overall loved Nier Automata, you can't tell me Nier Automata is fun all the time.
@alvarofaraujo: No, this OST was done by Takeharu Ishimoto. He's done work for Kingdom Hearts and a couple side games in the Final Fantasy series, but as far as I'm concerned TWEWY was his biggest project. The Persona composer, for the record, is Shoji Meguro.
With Alex just dropping major story spoilers for Yakuza 1 at the beginning of the video, I guess it's pretty safe to say there won't be any more Beast in the East :(
Also he plays in the absolute most boring way possible, using weapons and cheesing out the same heat action over and over, would've been nice to see some of Kaoru's co-op heat actions. Yakuza 2 is the pinnacle of this whole franchise so I'm looking forward to getting to beat RYUJI FUCKING GODA's ass in the new engine.
Isn't the murder of Dojima the thing that Yakuza 1 starts on pretty much?
@skinnersweet: Those comments to her *were* condescending and patronizing. Who thinks that saying "Have you heard of dialogue trees?" to a narrative designer of many years is reasonable?
And what the GB crew were going on about is aside from the social aspect of what was actually said: someone got fired for something they said on a personal account on their own time, and the response was to get rid of her as fast as possible without some kind of process. They were only concerned with unchecking the "Is she an employee?" box as soon as possible to appease a playerbase. An employer owes their employees more than that. Some idiot kid in a cashier position wouldn't get fired for that at a decent store; they'd get reprimended for sure, but not fired were it not a pattern. And that's to say nothing of the second employee who got fired for guilt by association. Why was he fired? Let's say that Jessica deserved to be fired for a moment: why does her coworker not get a talking to, or any kind of due process, for saying some comparatively benign thing in defense of a coworker?
Re: the FFXV mods, the dev team has said proper mod tools (level editor, quest editor, some ability to make new modes, etc) are coming later this year. For now, character and weapon mods are all that's in the game. And yes, the tools are busted.
@assirra: You edited your comment which was originally "like genders matters". Of course it does. Let's have a little different take. Representation matters and, yes, let's change things up a bit. Anyway, let's agree to disagree, I'm done having to answer questions after a very innocuous original post. Night.
You realize you don't have to reply, right? The only person getting worked up over the course of your entire exchange is you.
@alistercat: I'm running an i5-6600K and a 1060 6GB and I'm playing on almost everything maxed at 1080p and ~45fps. Both the demo and benchmark had weirdness when I tried them that the full version didn't, but the full version also has its own quirks. There's a memory leak tied to opening the main menu at the moment.
