So Steam you buy games on steam I bought games on steam, but I don't own games on steam I own a licence on steam and I can not trade that licence . Xbox one you will be able to buy games and you won't own them but you will own a licence to play it. What I don't see is why everyone is getting angry about Xbox one but I see no one getting angry about Steam doing the exact same thing because in my mind Microsoft and possibly Sony will just be doing the same thing that steam is doing and if you're fine with that why are you fine with Steam?
Even when you buy a game on a console [this current and previous gen's included, all the way back to the Atari] you only own a license. You never own a game you own a license to play the content stored on the disk, cart, HDD/SSD.
Many people are fine with it on Steam because the games are always on sale, the multi-player is free, then graphics are better, and you can upgrade the "console" when you choose.
