I have a Wii hooked up to a 4:3 Philips CRT tv, but I've only used it a few times this year... so maybe that doesn't count.
Other than that my main work laptop (I work from home) is a giant Asus monstrosity from summer 2011, it is really showing its age and I'm hoping to replace it this year.
I expect there are better versions of Need for Speed: Most Wanted on other platforms, but this version runs smooth and it sufficiently scratches that Burnout Paradise itch for me. I also enjoyed Mario Kart 8, Yoshi's Woolly World, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, Bayonetta 1+2, Pullblox/Pushmo world, the NES Remix pack, and probably a few more, but I wouldn't consider them must-haves.
Except for Need for Speed the Wii U has mostly been a family experience for me, we've played most of those Marios multiplayer, and even Mario Maker we've spent a fair amount just playing bookmarked puzzle levels and passing the controller around when one of us gets stuck.
@warpr: I don't even want to know what kind of lifestyle your living where those joy cons aren't connected to something at all times.
:D
We have family visiting often enough that we've played a fair amount of three and four player New Super Mario Bros U, and I'm not planning on getting three pro controllers, so until people start bringing their own... they'll have to make do with shitty sideways joy-cons.
Though, out-of-the-gate I guess there isn't much which can be played with more than two players, so probably for now a pro controller + joy-cons in a grip is all we need.
Neon wouldn't be so bad if it was one color. The two colors is ugly as hell imo. But hey I guess I could remedy that by buying another joy con in the red or blue color....like Nintendo planned.
It does seem useful though.
"Hand me the controller", "Which one?", "The red one!"
vs.
"Hand me the controller", "Which one?", "The Joy-Con R!"
I've had a WD fail about three weeks after we purchased it, and some Seagates which failed at random times.
Nothing recently though, I think I've gone at least a decade without losing a drive. That probably means I'm due (but I keep two copies of everything I care about at home and another copy at my parents who live on the other side of the planet, so my data should be fairly safe not just from hard disk crashes but also larger disasters :).
If I understand that page correctly (I'm relying on Google translate :), five Neogeo games are available on the Switch eShop in Japan at launch. I have fond memories of playing Wakuwaku 7 in Mame many years ago, so I'm curious if/how you can purchase these with a US switch.
