I played Fortnite on console the other day for maybe the second or 3rd time. I did the 20 v 20 thing and was put in a squad with what sounded like a teenager and 2 pre-teens. The 2 young kids just wouldn't stop yapping and saying "add me, add me" etc. I finally got on the mic and just said, "I'm too old for this" (side note, I'm 35). The teen said, "No kidding, I'm 17 and this is driving me crazy." the pre-teens said, "You should go play PUBG then, bitch."
So, I guess that's all I really had to say but I think that sort of sums things up pretty well.
I've only played Fortnite a few times but even I figured out that you can go in to the backpack/ inventory for an explanation of what the items do. Kind of surprised with how many hours Ben has put in that he hasn't thought to do that! (It's how I figured out what Slurp juice did).
@earlgreigh: Funny enough, the Pacific Northwest is my favorite place to visit! Wall Drug to South Dakotans is basically a joke but also a place we recommend people check out simply for being such a bizzaro tourist trap. It's like the physical embodiment of snake oil and everyone should see it.
It's weird how people seemed to more or less love The Force Awakens when it first came out (with the exception of those who felt it was "Disneyfied Star Wars") but have since looked back with a more critical eye. I watched The Force Awakens a few days after it came out and was actually really pleased with it overall. I had really low expectations after the last mess of movies so when it was said and done, I thought, "Hey, that was a pretty fun movie." Watching it again last week I thought, "Hey, that was still a pretty fun movie." In closing: Star Wars fanatics are the worst.
I'll never forget going to a local video store as a kid and seeing Dizzy in the Quattro Adventure for NES there. Being young and naive, I thought the game would be so amazing because you were getting 4 games for the price of one. Turns out, all 4 games were complete garbage but Dizzy stood out as the most baffling junker in the bunch. After watching this, my 35 year old brain still doesn't understand what the hell is going on with the Dizzy games.
