Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, Until Dawn, and The Taken King for me. The only other two that I'm sure will end up on there for me are Fallout and Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth. I still think I've played rebirth more this year than any of the games on that list
I started out at release playing with some GB duders, and met some really cool people. I played like every day until April-ish then fell off. I'm hopping back in tonight though, hopefully I can play with some of you guys ttonight. PSN: wmaustin55
@codeacious: Yeah, i will mainly play on ps3/4 but want to be able to play games on at least medium detail/high if i can swing it. any thoughts on my questions about the two y410 models/510p with sli/the asus?
Okay, so I am going to be pulling the trigger on my laptop within the next few hours. These are the ones I've narrowed it down to:
Y410plink question here, is there really any diff between the 819 and 869 priced models other than 16GB ram? Is it worth the little price bump?
y510plink question here, is the sli actually worth it? Ive heard there's lots of microstutter with dual cards. And if i can get by with the y410p specs then it's a no go.
N56jr Linkquestion here, i know build quality is better and with a better card, but is the few extra hundred dollars justified?
X550LB LinkThis is the wild card. Its super cheap, and seems to be decent specs. What will my gaming experience realistically be like? Is it worth going the cheaper option or would the y410p and up be a better investment?
I've researched it a lot, and I'm leaning toward the y410p. Unless the y510p sli is just insanely better or the Asus is as well and can justify the price jump then I'm gonna pull the trigger. Halp, duders!
Okay, so I'm finally updating my old hp notebook from 09. My price range is around 1300 tops. I'm preferably looking for something in the ultrabook or at least 13-14 inch portability market. I want to be able to game on it. I don't mean top of the line game. I mainly play on console anyway. Just a laptop i can conceivably play a pc AAA/any indie game on and it be playable. I was kind of tempted by the Surface pro 1 because it's only 600 right now, but I've heard it's not very good. I've researched this topic a lot myself, but with so many options I tend to get crippling anxiety when it comes to actually choosing. Any help is appreciated, Duders!
