The Shadow Temple is dungeon number seven in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and quite possibly the scariest of the entire game. The entrance to the temple is located in the back of the graveyard in Kakariko Village. Just like most of the dungeons in Ocarina of Time, the Shadow Temple is only accessible after playing a little medley on your ocarina. The song needed to get into the temple is the Nocturne of Shadow. The boss of the Shadow Temple is Bongo Bongo and the mini-boss is called Dead Hand.
Perhaps the greatest part about this dungeon is the suspense you get from the atmosphere inside. There are many traps, surprises, and even some of the walls and floor are stained with blood. You may even notice torture equipment in multiple rooms of the dungeon. The Lens of Truth allows you to see multiple invisible walls as well as an easy way to defeat the main boss, Bongo Bongo.
