Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 is a role-playing game developed and published by Atlus for the PlayStation 2. It is chronologically the fifth installment in the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series. Like its predecessor, its gameplay combines a traditional role-playing game with elements of a social simulation. Its critical and commercial success spawned a sizable media empire, including several spinoff titles.
What do you think about a fighting game between this two franchises? The concept would be like Dissidia: Final Fantasy, but featuring all heroes and villains of the Shin Megami series going against the entire family of the Final Fantasy series. For me, I would like to see Adachi fighting Kefka. That's something awesome to see. Feel free to disagreed, of course. XD
Did you ever see any of the 5 episodes of Dead Fantasy? It would look like that but without all the kung-fu since no one (as far as I am aware) is a highly adept martial artist in the Persona series. And, no I don't see Chie as an actual martial artist as opposed to a martial enthusiast.
Aww I thought this thread would be about which is the better series of the two. (SMT of course regardless of FF's innovations)
SMT fighting game could work but it could not have a similiar story line to Dissidia. Mainly because in many SMT games there is no really "hero" or "villain" (most apparently shown in Nocturne). However if it was just a game based on SMT demons fighting each other then that would be kinda cool I guess. ...not really. If it was a cross over then how would it be done? I suppose you could do it cast on cast, but it wouldn't really work for the Persona games.
