Playdate: 428 - Shibuya Scramble & Daemon_9

Call me a coward, but that second game kind of gave me the creeps. Even if it comes off as silly or just not well done, creepy girls in white with long black hair just unnerve me.

I also saw The Ring as a kid.

As creepy as The Ring is, Ringu is even creepier. Ugghhhh…

I was casually interested in Shibuya Scramble before watching this and seeing it it was ok. But in the end I always have the same reaction as Dan to visual novels

What the fuck, Nasu is in the credits? Fate Nasu? What'd he do?!?

Watching Dan's face during all of this was maybe the most interesting part. Shame, but I don't think Shibuya Scramble's for me.

I was just going to post that here but saw your comment. That is correct, a Breitling Aerospace does not have a seconds hand, only hour and minute. It tracks seconds on the digital displace. It’s a very, very cool watch (for other reasons, not for the lack of a seconds hand).

Exactly, which is why its so weird that they chose that watch when the script talked about seconds.

Playing through this game now and my curiosity has lead to me looking up some of the cast. Most of them have done little to nothing, but Kano is Kamen Rider Garren which is very cool and I am ashamed to admit I didn't recognize him.

I must admit, I'm one of the people who's suggested Shibuya to Vinny because 1) every screenshot I've seen has been super wacky with mascot characters and stuff, and 2) I thought it was FMV. What we have here is neither.

I was having a good time watching the first game; the discussion about whether to move on came out of nowhere for me.
