Damn that's a bummer about the THPS 1+2 career mode. Doing all the goals with all skaters is what I loved doing in old THPS 1-4. Thanks for mentioning it Jeff, I would have been real let down if I bought the game and found out on my own.

I really think Jeff's way too dismissive about the new crop of retro-FPS games. Some of them are every bit as good as their 90s inspirations, or better. It's especially weird since making similar complaints about, say, the number of indie games that are sidescrollers would be seen as ridiculous.

@blipp18: I came to post the same thing. These live service games basically require you to suspend your disbelief when it comes to rerunning missions or for you to just not give a shit. It’s fine if they done like the Avengers game, but that complaint can be said for any of these games.

If you have the money up front and want an Xbox Series S/X, don't do the payment plan. 3-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate codes go on sale for about $25 pretty frequently, so you'd end up paying more on the monthly plan than buying a console and using sales to continue your Game Pass subscription.

For anyone else having heat issues with your PS4 pro right now, the top of that system is designed to pop off easily. This exposes the fan while not exposing anything critical. You can leave the top off, or leave it cracked open. This reduces fan noise/speed a ton, and also stops heat shutdowns in extreme temps.

I'm surprised people aren't making more of a deal about Cyberpunk not having next-gen patch until some time in 2021. It really kills interest in getting PS5 at launch if you're going to have to wait till next summer to play upgraded versions of Tsushima, TLOU2 and Cyberpunk. Maybe the load times will be faster at least but it's kind of crazy how you're buying a PS5 to play PS4 games at PS4 quality. Even Ubisoft games won't be patched.

I think Crystal Dynamics might have shot themselves in the foot regarding matchmaking in the Avengers game cause...AI companions are REALLY effective in this game. Like...VERY effective. I'm not saying perfect, but I've never felt like I lose because the AI sucks, and the times when it's on are legitimately some of the most fun I've had with the game, so I've never really felt the need to switch on the matchmaking myself.

Hearing that you can't replay challenges on different skaters in Tony Hawk is super lame. It's one minor misstep in what otherwise seems a fantastic remake, but that is a baffling decision.

The Godfather is about as far away as you can get from a cult classic, lol. It's just a classic.
