Unpopular opinion: Days Gone is great

Fun and stupid fact: Biker Zombie game is technically a sequel to Syphon Filter. Apparently Gabe et al are directly referenced in some crashed plane (?) about how they failed to avert the apocalypse

Could always argue it is just a reference (like how Uncharted directly references cordyceps) but... that is the closest anyone will ever get to a new Syphon Filter so?

As a keyboard nerd, I loved Bakalar's segment. It's such a fun hobby :)

Good lord Days Gone seems boring. I don’t just mean gameplay, those cutscenes are so dull and eye roll inducing.

Do you know which song that was? I know I've heard it before but have no clue how to find it.

Days Gone gets a lot of shit. It’s actually a decent game but does take a while to get to the point where the story gets interesting. It also doesn’t do a whole lot new but I feel like it gets unfair judgement a lot. I’d love to see a new Syphon Filter out of the Bend team.

@jeffbakalar So, no longer rotating, and staying with the crew, (same for everyone really, but just lemme just appreciate Jeff B for a second here) -you have been this sort of beacon of hope that not everything sucks, and has to feel shitty all the time. The chances are you'll never read this, but dude, you have made me laugh so hard the last few casts, and streams and stuff, and of course all of GBEAST, but especially now, thank you so much man. Just continue doing what you do, which, in absolutely no way is to say the rest of the crew somehow do this less, I am just choosing right now to say; Hey hockeypuck loaded with weed: you made this sad hombre laugh, real hard, and that is so fucking hard to do, we're talking weeks without a single smile, so that it is worthy of this long weird post, if nothing else but just to let ya know, and hopefully, you already do. @mikachops: I played about half of it and had a pretty decent time. Didn't blow me away, but it does some things really well. That said, I think State of Decay 2 is a much more mechanically interesting game.

Having fun with Knockout City! It's a shame Jan didn't have more time to play some of the Training. Learning about the curve and lob shots is key. Also, doing a perfect catch into a throw you get a boost. A lot of little depth.

Jeff sure does has a lot of negative stuff to say about that game that I'm pretty sure he's never played outside of an E3 demo. Outside of Bloodborne, its my favorite Playstation exclusive, sliiiightly ahead of God of War.

Coming in to give a shout-out to Tower Unite. Stumbled onto it a few months back and have really enjoyed my time with it. Would definitely recommend.

@av_gamer: I Never had a problem with it either. I don't get how GB nit picks the most mundane things. there are plenty of things about days gone to warn people who are on the fence for playing it. I was hesitant about it based on the reviews. but I played if for my self and liked it a quite a bit. its kind of repetitive. but things like the story, dialog, crafting / bike maintenance, i'm completely fine with and actually enjoy.

I had laser eye surgery several years ago and it was the worst decision i ever made.

Anyone with large pupils i would tell them to not go anywhere near laser eye surgery. I have giant pupils (10mm when dilated) and im now stuck with ghostly shapes and starburst for what i imagine will be the rest of my life. My problems were so bad i was eventually referred to the best eye surgeon in the Uk who corrected some of the problems but not all of them.

I honestly dont have a good word to say about it and i wish i had bought a pair of new glasses and saved myself years of trouble both in sense of time and emotional damage. Honestly having your eyes get fucked up is very difficult to cope with as you use them pretty much all the time.
