A little harsh on San Antonio, guys...I mean, we HAVE a river, it's just not a very good one, but people needed work during the Depression.

I was so happy when Dan was leaving the SF office because I wouldnt have to be so annoyed watching the videos anymore.... When I saw this I realised he would be showing up in the east-playthrough videos and stenching up the place with his putried persona (that does a bad job of masking his intellect).

If you want to accuse someone of having a putrid persona and a lacking intellect look no further than yourself, my dude.

30 minutes in and he hasn't beaten the first boss -_-

I don't know, these games seem pretty dull. I'm sure it was awesome back in the day to pick the level/boss you wanted to go for and test out which abilities do what, but the actual gameplay seems poor. Bad platforming and worse combat. I'm not even really watching at this point, just listening to the conversations - it seems like Vinny and Dan are barely paying attention either. But I didn't really played the Mega Man games as a kid and don't have any nostalgia for them, so perhaps I don't get it.

I think the pop filter on Vinny's mic might be broken. I'm hearing a lot of dad jokes when he speaks.

This is such a great group. You all are a great fit. I like the other guy on the beastcast too, wish he was involved on these. Westcoast is fantastic but needs one more strong personality like Dan or Patrick was. Drew is awesome though! Wish Craig would join...

Rewatching this, and I said it during the chat, but I have to put it here for posterity: the coolest Todd is Tony Todd.

Even watching this so long after the fact, Dan's deadpan delivery on "I don't think anyone told Drew how to play Metal Gear" earned a literal lol from me ... and so did Alex's bluntness about how childishly reactive some GB commenters consistently were towards Dan.

I finally got the TV finished on my NES Lego set. Rewatching these while building it was definitely the right call. I almost forgot how nice things were before. . .well, everything that's happened in the 6 years since this video released.
