What if, - and stay with me here - they embraced the "run fast and deal with it" ethos of Mario 1 by making it so that whenever Mario gets hit, instead of getting bigger or smaller, he just drops all his coins, and if he can scoop them back up he's ok, but if he gets hit again with no coins, that's when he dies?

I don't know, I'm just spitballing over here.

I just had a "phoenix down" moment.

I always thought the rim of the warp pipe at the end of the underwater levels was a green and white striped door. I never noticed it was connected to the wall by a pipe. Weird.

Sounds interesting, but it feels like they would need to add a bunch of not really fitting platforming to limit how fast you could go to compensate, but like, put that in the latter half of the games, the halves people conveniently forget about!

It somehow feels weird to hear the original Mario theme coming out of its original source. This is where it belongs.

Probably the now most famous past Mad TV cast members would be Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. Later seasons of Mad were so-so, but the earlier years were funny and full of incredibly talented people; Will Sasso being a personal favorite.

Mario Facts - We think our female cat has a crush on Brad. During this video she was staring intently at him and tried to touch his face. This is the third video we've noticed her doing it with. She's never shown any interest in any other GB content, just Brad's face.

Breaking Brad is always really fun.

Breaking Bad is my favorite GB feature. So glad to see this.

I've never finished this game either. Usually by the time I get to the first castle I'm some combination of bored and/or stressed that I give up and turn it off. But this stream is awesome. It's like I'm living vicariously through Brad.

And my first ringtone was a MIDI of Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir".

@fledeye: Perhaps your cat is just watching Brad intently, in order to gain a higher understanding of just how much torment a human being can endure before they finally Break...Brad.

Man, it's good to have a new Breaking Brad. This was a banger, as well.

I still want to see a followup to the classic Doom 2 Breaking Brad in which he completes Doom 2016 on Nightmare. It's surprisingly doable, but still vicious enough to make for great entertainment.

Roger Ebert's review for The War of the Roses. I had never heard of this movie before, I had to see how it was received at the time. Based on the poster art, I can see why Jeff had absolutely no interest in seeing it, but it looks alright.

To correct Jeff, Vs. SMB (the arcade version) is not just SMB tweaked with different timers/removed powerups/exploits. It also has levels rearranged and others that replace some of the levels that ended up in Mario Bros 2 (Japanese).

I’ve never seen it and always just assumed it was about The war of the roses so I was confused as to why Mr. & Mrs. Gerstmann would want to see it so badly they would leave young Jeff alone in a car park.
