I'm in a similar situation as Brad is with his SO. I stopped playing Dota partly because of the time commitment. Dota became a "Dirty Word" like Brad said.

I play Heroes of the storm now, because even though its not as "Good" as Dota. It's great being able to play a game in 15 minutes

I've been dealing with this by rewatching some Breaking Brads, some of the OG Endurance run, and some other stuff. Also New MGScanlon tomorrow :D It's kinda nice having time to go back and watch some stuff, for example I never really watched the Demon's souls playthrough. One thing I'd completely forgot about was Brad's playthrough of the first Devil May Cry, would love to see him do DMC 2 some time, since Dan and Jason seem pretty into the new one.

Pretty solid advice from Dan regarding retirement/investment. I won't add much since people should either do considerable research or pay to see a professional when they are investing but most of what he said is true. This graph is probably the simplest way of demonstrating what he mentioned about starting as soon as possible. Keep in mind these things are overly simplified and rely on a constant rate of return which isn't realistic but over very long time periods in the past have been around 10% or so.

To be fair @danryckert, Missouri does have St. Louis.

My nomination for worst would be between the following:

3. Wyoming - It has the least people per square mile so you would probably run into no one for hundreds of miles and only see a couple of towns... but on the plus it has beautiful countryside and major national parks like Yellowstone and the weather never gets higher than the upper 80s.

2. Michigan - often cold and bleak, and run-down thanks to places like the decay of Detroit, Flint, and other once great industrial metroplexes. Then again, if you want to see what a post-apocalyptic city looks like, maybe Detroit would be interesting.

And finally, the worst of all in my opinion:

1. Mississippi - southern style food but not as good as Louisiana. More backwards thinking, unhealthy, racist people per capita (fun fact - due to a legal filing mistake, only abolished slavery just a few years ago) than anywhere else in the South. Horrible hot humid weather 90% of the year. Crap infrastructure. No interesting national points of interest like parks or great cities. No conventions or events centered around any sort of technology. Additionally, has one of the worst high-school graduation rates in the country, the lowest wages, the highest rate of STDs, and probably numerous other statistics that make it seem like a third world country in comparison to even the other somewhat poorly regarded states around it. Only interesting thing I've ever heard someone praise about the state is the college "Ole Miss," which is only something to maybe check out if you enjoy American football.

The last time I was in Mississippi it was to go to this fancy sort of hidden plantation-like golf course with my friends. I wasn't really into the golf - just wanted to hang with some old college pals, and every single other establishment around it was just depressing and run-down.
