I kind of love that Thursday’s for GB West today turned into a Saturday morning Cartoon loop but with licensed animation games. First the DBFZ stream and then Garfield w/ Gerstmann. Sounds like a rotation of cartoons on WB Kids or on Cartoon Network.

I love that you basically did an Endurance Run of a random, generic, Garfield game on the PS2.

And... That's why I have had Giantbomb as my homepage for almost 10 years now.

I have no idea why I watched this live, but I feel somehow violated.

This will be great to watch at work tomorrow, particularly since it is in fact my Monday of my work week. I hope Jeff continues this feature(?) of playing somewhat obscure or forgotten - but not necessarily terrible - games. This was a good ride.

Seems like this game did come out on PC, but only in Europe - I can find Nordic/Spanish/French releases of the game at a quick glance.

Incidentally, the first result on Google for "Garfield Lasagna World Tour wikipedia" is from crappy-games.wikia.com, so yeah....

Cool useful facts:
During the stream Ben said that in the Nordic countries Garfield is known as Gustav.
In Norway Garfield was known as Pusur - which is a fun joining of the words Pus (cat) and Sur (grumpy) which basically gave him the name Grumpy Cat.

I stayed up to 1:30 Am for this. Then the ending happened.

This whole playthrough reminds a lot of the Bioforge playthrough. It's always funny to see GB play garbage games.

I'm not quite sure but as much as I appreciate the gang playing games like Monster Hunter World and Dragon Hunter Z to death this speaks to me in a way that content has not. Ben and Brad were perfect as a foil to Jeff's insanity here.

I still need to watch this since they were still in Italy ... which may be a longer level than mexican city?

Also anyone recommend fire emblem warriors for 60 bucks the DLC comes out soon and man 60 bucks for a dynasty warriors game seems steep. Why does no one talk about that game since it is the year of the anime fighters. Hopefully someone out there sees this footage and realizes that the world needs a Garfield game but not another action platformer please no maybe a tactical shooter or a flight sim or anything but this anything but this dont make these games but make more garfield games please. I think it's funny that a terrible game from 10 years ago is still a reasonably competent, if unrefined platformer. The deluge of Steam releases in recent years has completely re-calibrated my concept of what a 'bad' game looks like.
