It appears dad is trying to switch settings as he gets shot, so that suggests you have to set the phaser to change history. I do kind of like the pause and read mechanism too.

Ha that customer support line was great. Also it cracked me up to hear Dan say brings me back to the payphone at the swimming pool because I remember doing the same thing as a kid.

Alex loves TNG and DS9. Yes, those are the two good Star Trek series. Good to see the Beast crew is staying on brand with some Trek #content.

What was that hotline that Alex called? I couldn't hear it properly. "Welcome to America's hottest...?"

So every time you were a borg they would flash 61330 on the screen. The thing at the very end where it seemed like they were hitting random buttons, it was a keypad and 61330 was the code.

I didn't bother figuring out if there were logical solutions to the other seemingly bullshit puzzles.

Well, that was a real treat. I'd recommend that you guys check out Star Trek Klingon at some point - it's basically this game, except with Klingons.
