A tip for the mako if you're using a gamepad, if you are holding down the left trigger you can click the right stick to do a sniper zoom. You can blow up guys with the cannon before they can even see you.

I'm loving this series, but I gotta mention two things:

1. I don't think you've yet noticed that the Codex and Journal screens both have two tabs

2. Watching you attempt to aim with a gamepad is... difficult. Perhaps trying kb/m for a session is worth a thought.

EA's put all the Mass Effect soundtracks on Spotify, even Andromeda's. They're not a total lost cause.

@alex You need to stick a note on the screen reminding you to just hack with the arrow keys. ;)

I don't think you need a keys/mouse combo either, just left, right, up, down. Much easier.

Oh man that hacking minigame on PC seems real bad...

Can you adjust the sensitivity on the controller mod? I don't think there's any point in ME where you need to do quick twitch sweeps so making it slower will drastically reduce the times you move back and forth over a target without lining the crosshair up.

Love how enamoured Alex is becoming with this series. Looking forward to the BIG decisions! If only they could play a few hours every day.

I loved this game when it came out and haven't played it in years, and I'm REALLY enjoying this series and the way Alex goes through the majority of dialogue options. It's a lot of fun to rediscover and remember this game. The only thing that would make it better is if there were a way to get this in audio only format. It's practically like an audio book with commentary and I remember enough about this game that I don't need the accompanying visuals.

I wonder when they will find out that there is a whole other floor of the Normandy they haven't been to lol.

Man, I just don't get how people like the Mako. Especially in combat.

Honestly can't imagine wanting to play this with a controller instead of mouse and keyboard... but then I really can't imagine playing virtually anything with a gamepad with anything besides the steam controller at this point. Right stick look just seems so loose and clunky and all over the place without at least a gyro to manage it and make it usable.

Plus that hacking minigame is incredibly simple with just the mouse

I know its a long way to go but I can't wait to see how Alex likes the transformation through the games of the series.

I had always hoped that Mass Effect 1-3 would be remastered on PS4 with the Ep 3 engine for combat, the mining, and for romance options. That probably isn't going to happen, but it was a nice dream.

Garrus and Wrex should get a spin off game, think Miami Vice.

Oh the nostalgia I feel after hearing the Citadel music...this game is wonderful.

I'm replaying the series again on PC and hacking is laughably easy with arrows keys or WASD. I think all of their hacking and combat/aiming difficulties are due to the controller mod. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a mod that just auto-completes all of those minigames.

I would also recommend turning off the auto level up for your party members so you can min/max their electronics/decryption skills first to salvage more loot on missions.

It can be annoying but i think it is a great addition because it adds so much to the atmosphere and feel like I am actually exploring. When they take it out in Mass Effect 2 and you just click on some menus for each planet it really makes the game feel like a series of disconnected corridors with chest high walls rather than a world to explore.

man i rolled with Ashley the whole game the first time i played it, and she wasn't a space racist at the end. When that came up in the 2nd one I was like, what the shit? it's partially why i didn't like the second one as much as the first.

@arbuthnaut: ME1 did not age well for me going back and playing it last year. I want him to get to 2 where the gameplay starts to feel modern.

I just love how interested Alex is and how he investigates and listens to everything the people are saying. This series was the reason for me to get premium. Thanks, I love this! <3
