lmao I bought this game without even hesitating. I love this kind of shit... even when I play Morrowind I spend 70% of my time in the level editor making houses or w/e. I'm glad you can decorate the houses however you want, the less rules the better.

my 2 main criticisms for this game are: 1. You can't place anything diagonally 2. They didn't even bother trying to make things like partitions or tables link together in any kind of way so you'll just have gaps when two screens are set right next to each other.

Normally I don't care about the home designing stuff in the main games but this looked pretty cool....at least until Dan started talking about how there's barely any fail state to this game and there isn't a more robust grading system on how well you decorate someone's house so no thanks

Very disappointing. That sucks; I really like the series.

The moment Dan says he can't shake fruit off a tree, my heart breaks.

I enjoy making homes in this, but I do kinda agree this feels like nothing more than a test run for home designing stuff they'll implement in the next full game.

This game is not what I want from AC, but it has features that really need to be in the next main AC game (if there is going to be one). Being able to choose the outside appearance of buildings, for one. The lack of town layout/appearance management in New Leaf was a huge letdown for me. The entire decorating system here is good, too. Not that you have everything available, but being able to move things around the touch screen. Of course, this is assuming it's on a platform that still has a touch screen.
