Playing a half MMO, half shooter like this seems like a bummer. Games like borderlands (or maybe only borderlands) do progression well, but the shooting is still actual shooting. And the cars are cooler. And there are Skags.

this looks worse than crimecraft. at least that had like, shooting.

This game looks boring. It also looks like Playstation Home, with guns.

A sequel to Sim Ant would be rad. Or not.

Why cant someone make a third person shooter MMO that is actually an MMO and is actually a good fun game to play. C'mon people, step your game up, literally.

As someone who teamed up with friends in the beta constantly, APB isn't worth its price. It's fun at first to jump in a car with three other friends and shoot around at random NPCs/scenery, much like GTA IV's free mode, but once you get down to the actual missions in the game, it's a lot of mediocre shooting/strategy that feels dated, and a lot more getting killed by guys with grossly overpowered weapons. As soon as you start to overcome such odds, they'll call in enough backup to ruin any chances of winning you had.
 
If it took this long for APB to get to this point, it'd take 5-10 years to get to where it needs to be. As someone who was really looking forward to what this game planned to offer, I can't help but be tremendously disappointed.

Gutted this game plays so badly, as the premise seemed great to begin with, plus the customisation is pretty amazing. Played the beta though and really didn't like it... Made for a great QL though.

GTA4 multiplayer looks 10 times more entertaining than this.

This game seems like the opposite of good.

Looks depressingly boring, sad cause I thought it had some potential.  
 
Plus I hate the payment and time structure, awful setup. 

The death music at 25:20 is f'ing fantastic.

Jeff we actually played together at some point. I remember playing with your Trav character using my character, WhiteGold.

I'll wait till this inevitably goes free-to-play.

Didn't look any fun at all.  I have trouble understanding why a game this bad was even built and released.

I got bored watching, maybe if I was actually playing this game i might find it a little bit fun, but watching can get really old in a game like this.

I remember when this game looked cool. I guess that is why they always show the customization instead of the game. The customization stuff looks pretty cool but like most MMOs this looks like they are making you pay for a beta and their pricing model is kind of crazy, its the North American model of paying for the game with the Asian model of paying by the hour but it does a poor job of justifying itself. 
 
Bet this goes to a Free-to-Play model before suffering an unsightly death.

I can't recall the last time that I saw a game that was just so damn BORING.  Damn, people.  Were you too busy cramming in product placement, crap music, and useless customization that you forgot about GAMEPLAY?  Man, this is just pathetic and is pretty much everything that's been bumming me out about gaming in the past few years.

Great concept, terrible execution. What a shame.

I look at this and it just makes me want to go back and play GTA 4.

This game looks horrible, sorry you guys had to play this game.

I've played the beta, and I can say for certain that the driving was horrible then and is STILL horrible now. That is just one of the many problems of this game. Boring is the nicest word I can say about it.
 
EDIT: Developer of the first Crackdown? That explains why the driving is pure pile of shit.

The character customization is really the only thing that looks remotely interesting. I cannot imagine paying subscription fees for it.

Phoenix was probably the best part of this game so far. 
 
EDIT: Especially since Jeff passed up the opportunity to hit up that big ass ramp.

All this game needs is 1. More players in a bigger world at one time, and 2. Ways to constantly be interacting with players. For instance, if you are a cop, you should level by doing cop things aka stopping criminals, and when your a gang member or whatever, you need to gain experience for stealing things and murdering people ect. The key is though, that all of this should be happing constantly and seamlessly. It should just be a giant open world where people cause shit to happen and other people try to stop that shit from happening. The quests/missions shouldn't be things you pick up and set out to do, they should just be the different ways the criminal can go about stealing things, and the different ways that a cop can try to catch the bad dudes. 
 
This game is sorta trying to be GTA MMO or Cops and Robbers MMO, so why not be that. It is almost as if the game designers for games like these actively want to prohibit stuff from constantly going on, it just doesnt make sense to me. Basically, if your a cop, and you see any bad dude, you should be able to shoot that guy in the face and kill him, no matter what he is doing, and vice-versa.

not a single doubt in my mind that this one will end up on a couple 'Worst Of' lists.  ouch.

It would seem the best part of the game is watching players drive like assholes and jump around in this realistic open world thing.

I wouldn't pay money for this awfulness.

This game looks boring and lifeless...isn't an open world game supposed to make one feel like, you know, they are in  living world. If only Rockstar made a serious GTA Online thing...that would probably be the only thing that would draw me into this type of game.
