Been thinking about playing this game. This video makes it look more fun than I heard it was.

i never played this when it first came out. i wanted too, but never got around to it. bought it this morning and i have fallen in love. Great story and characters. the gameplay holds up well too. the only thing really janky about the game is the camera.

Count me was one of those who got this cheap on Steam but never installed it.  I feel like I should at least check out how it runs on my machine before paying for another version.  Still, I'm at least interested to do so now ( I always thought it was more of a straight up adventure game).

Hey, newsflash to everyone.
Aside from custom resolution, the PC version is probably the worst of the bunch.
No widescreen, no gamepad support, glitchy as hell, and the textures on that thing look muddy as hell now.
I own 3 copies of the PC version, and even the gog.com version, even with their compatibility fixes, is rotten.
 
This version on the other hand is great.

Was expecting the invention from Peyj in the mines to be something slightly inappropriate (like a bacon wrapped enviro mask) though been a long while since I played this on the Ps2.  
 
Game looks good & it's too bad that this game doesn't feature some of the other game wink/nods in the ubisoft universe (like Double Fine with Costume Quest/Stacking) like rayman or rabbids pictures.

I forgot how much I liked Pey'j as a sidekick. He's a cool character, and I really enjoy his voice acting. It's neat traveling with him and having him help you out in the "dungeons" and such.

I'm definitely getting the itch to play this game again.  As was said in the video, the gameplay isn't spectacular (old and slightly clunky but competent), but I found the characters and writing so charming that I'd love to run through it again and eagerly wait any news of a sequel.  Pey'j is one of my favorite game characters.

Thanks for putting this up, this was one of the reasons I held on to that beast of a first xbox console, it was a damn shame to see copies of this game languishing unsold back in the day. An absolutely worthwhile pick-up.

Owned it on the Xbox and bought it again today. It still hasn't lost its charm.

better textures and running at a higher resolution...    it's not like they were going to go back and remodel every character build or something... "

This is definitely on my list of favorite games so I will be picking it up as soon as I have money.

I remember plowing through this over the course of a rental.  It's the one game I regret not buying from this generation.

What? It's on Steam and every computer out there runs it.

I really want to buy this (for the first time, too), but, uh, it's not gonna be on the PSN for a few months, at least. I hope Ubisoft waits for that version to sell before it decides on how well the game as a whole did.

This game was cool as a Zelda type game but Star Fox Adventures was better. And it came out a year before.

Man, I kinda got put off by Brad's constant "Women can't do this, women can't do that... oh yeah, short hair is for men, eyepatch is for men... blah blah". Bad day, Brad?

Now if only they would put this "HD" edition on an open platform.

Loved this game when it first came out. Bought this version too. Support it!
