Quick Look: Borderlands

Man you guys are really spoiling us today.

The video does show a lot of the things I'm worried about with the game.  The repetitiveness of enemies spawning from holes in the ground especially.  I think it'd work OK as a MMO (they'd have to remake the game obviously), but with the coop / invite system I can't see it working out for me.
 
I guess another way to put it would be a less varied Phantasy Star Online without hubs.

I've actually heard this wasn't so great from the latest Idlethumbs podcast.

man.. I can't decide whether I want this or Assassin's Creed II more. It makes it harder that they are two completely different games with no basis of comparison.

Looks awesome, except they really need to patch in a trade-feature or loot rolls or something.  As it stands I wouldn't trust playing this game with anyone except friends.

I haven't watched this yet but you guys need more 4 player QLs.

Great great great quick look guys. seems like some quality exclusive content.

I like the art style but the gameplay seems a bit boring. mmmm have to wait and see about this one.

I was 100% stocked for this game until I heard there was a level cap and an ending to the game...
 
Seriously, second and third playthroughs? Sorry, but I already went through something like that in Mass Effect, and it was not very fun.

This looks both fresh and fly.

That was a great Quick Look, really glad I saw this and I am glad that Jeff took the time to save some of the crazy guns makes me super excited for this game.

Single player MMO?  Do not want.

This game looks fantastic.  I've been waiting for another Fallout 3-style game for a while.

It's a sad sad day when the Demon's Souls quick look is filled with "THIS GAME IS AWESOME" comments and this Quick Look is filled with comments saying "THIS GAME SUCKS!".

Still not sold on the game.

I don't know if I want this...

My hope is that these early levels are the least interesting parts and the later environments/quests/bosses become more engaging.
