I'm sure it's been covered already, but I'll say it anyway: The reason you couldn't join any games is because you had it set up in cooperative mode with 3 private slots.

There is if you use the input device that the game was designed for : a controller.

Not sure if I even had any expectations, but consider them blown.

Holy shit, the Analog style reminds me of Mount and Blade, that's pretty damn awesome.

Anyone else having problems viewing this video? The whiskey server seems to be choking bad... Can't even watch for more than 2 minutesvwithout it freezing up for 15 or so. Other sites working fine......

@phonicpod: I had some issues with stuttering video, so I switched to progressive and let it pre-load a bit

This looks great... but it's had such a bad rap so far apart from brad. There's such a lot of other games coming out though so i might get it cheap during christmas or something.

I'm very impressed, I thought this would just be a Left 4 Dead clone. However, I am so tired of killing zombies, this quick look really just makes me interested in Borderlands.

I will wait until they sort the technical stuff before getting this because the patch didn't fix everything

you can move from passenger seat to driver seat by looking at the driver side and press forward at least on the PC version you can

This game got some pretty so-so reviews.. however.. IT LOOKS FREAKING AWESOME. Goddamnit reviewers from.. other.. sites..! Man do I love QL.

This actually looks better than I was expecting and it's cool to see a zombie game getting so heavily into RPG mechanics. I also loved the last thing Brad said in this quick look.

This game is already better than i expected since the trailer from WAY BACK IN 2007. This is the zombie RPG i have been waiting for for years....so I plan on getting this soon.:D

I had my doubts, but this quick look convinced me. It looks pretty good.

Wow! Real surprise. The marketing made me think this would stink. However, i appear to be proved wrong. I am breaking the bank this week to get this. The kids and I can live on Weetabix, right?

I've just started playing on the PC. It's a shame you can't use the Analog control with a Mouse and Keyboard, but other than that it great so far.

Watched this and just pre-ordered on Amazon UK for 35 Euros. Nice and cheap for a long game to tide me over until school starts in october.

Gr8 game !

Me and my friend rented this specifically for system link Co-op. It's quite fun until you start fighting 2-3 Thug zombies at the same time.

Oh man, can't wait to play this!

Another note: Even when playing in digital mode on PC with mouse+keyboard you still have the target reticle and can cut/crush individual limbs.

"Destructable flesh technology", "Zombies aren't really structurally sound". This quick look has offered the best sound bytes of the week so far.

I wasn't interested in this game til I watched some gameplay footage.

I don't see this being fun in solo for more than a few hours.

According to the negative reviews from the other gaming sites, I was a little sketchy if this game will be any good, until I watched this Quick Look. Dead Island definitely looks like a promising winner.

Edit: This game has a weird looks to it... Some parts look incredibly polished and great looking while other parts look just plain bad.

I am interested in this game now. I had no idea it was an RPG. I just saw it and thought "Oh another stupid zombie game."

I was sold on this game from that amazing trailer...then unsold by the gameplay I saw...now I'm resold by this Quick Look! Any more of this and I'll have opinionated whiplash.

THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!! I bought it on a limb and am really enjoying it.
