Quick Look: Dungeon & Dragons Daggerdale

Huh... This looks like fun, too! Some good dungeon crawling going on lately!

i will download it for sure, after i found out that El Shaddai is a full retail game i have some cash on the store for a game like this

I was surprised to see so many negative comments when this was first announced, I thought it looked very interesting even back then and this quick look makes it looks great.  Really can't wait to give this a try.  Can't get enough of loot hunters.

The audio is horrible in this game. Barely any music, no voices and the effects sound like something in a 1994 PC game.

I always read it as "Dungeon's and Dragons: Daggerable", which makes me wish "dagger" was a proper verb.

wait ... did they scap the PC version? I am pretty sure this is supposed to be out on PC too?

Love the Baldur's Gate & other D&D games that went out to the Xbox/PS2, definitely getting this when it goes out.

Actually the default 4E setting is the "Points of Light" setting.  Nintir Vale, Nerath, etc. 
Anyway, I prefer Eberron anyway.

This just makes me pine for a proper Dark Alliance 3. I want to pick race/class and have a huge world to quest in.

You know, if they did a Ravenloft game like this or even a disc based game I think that'd be great. Still love the franchise for all the extra horror themed pieces plus you have to love having to be aware that your character can lose many aspects of sanity in the Ravenloft realms.

As far as NWN2 goes, I still think that the first expansion pack to that has the best RPG storyline of the last decade. Yeah, it's tough to get into the games if you don't know what you're doing, but man. Mask of the Betrayer is the shit.

I fucking love these names. If only every weapon ever had such a long, exquisite title. The AK-47 could be the "Russian Workhorse of Reliable Killing Potential" and some such.

I played the shit out of Dark Alliance and DA2. Both fantastic games. This looks kind of cool, I'm digging it, even though I know jack shit about the D&D Universe. Could be fun online but I hope they make a steam version.

I enjoyed the Dark Alliance games and this looks similarily interesting.

Man, the game in general looks pretty good, but JESUS those dwarves look awful. They aren't just ugly, they are poorly animation, poorly modeled, and just awkward looking.

 Bhaal is generic, but within the context I'm pretty sure he's a little more important than a generic  demon :3

Dark Alliance is easily the worst DnD universe game I've ever played, so any comparisons to that are ominous.

Honestly I love an ugly ass dwarf. Dwarfs should be ugly.

Well,. I'll be getting this one. Hells yeah!
