This game needs a PC release.
With those graphics it'd be perfect for laptop gaming.

Ryan's sarcastic thanks to Matt for "explaining what a rogue is" (27:12) reminded me of a time way back when I played "Lineage II." I had teamed up with a random rogue in a dungeon, but I soon noticed that the rogue was enthusiastically hacking away at the front of enemies. I suggested that he instead attack from behind to get his class damage bonus. He was genuinely astounded by that knowledge, despite already being level 30.

So yes, some people actually do need explanations for what a rogue is.

The last time I played D&D tabletop some 12 years ago, there was this older kid with long hair and greasy glasses who played a female rogue and tried to cyber with all the NPCs.... That was the last time I played D&D....

Looks pretty good, hope it does well so maybe they can release some new areas and dungeons in the future.

Something about the basic attack animation really irks me.

I love DnD.  But this was just bad.

No rolling of stats.
No choice in how you roll your stats.
No choice in race/class combo.
No character personalization.
Limited core races.
Limited core classes.
Least they implemented local co-op.

Ask any DnD player what they want in a game, and I assure you it's not this. (I'm trying my best to stay away from any 4e bashing)

I would rather them do it right then not do it at all. Because when poor games like this come out and they do not sell well, it kills any chance of another better release coming along. But if they just did it properly in the first place they wouldn't have that problem.

I get transitioning DnD to the video game realm is hard given the nature of the game, but why does such a shitty company have to have the rights. Wizards this is why the movie failed, and this is why this game will fail.(The movie however does provide me with some laughs and lovely blue lipstick)

I just want one question answered..
WHY IS THIS GAME NOT FOR THE PC??

 I went into this thinking it is cool, but it looks pretty bad. Edit: I didn't really realize that its a max 15$ dl title. For that I think it looks pretty cool ;).

Wow, I really want to play this.

I'm genuinely surprised how good this looks for a downloadable.  It may not be the ultimate implementation of actual D&D in a game, but what do you really expect from a (probably) $15 game?
