Uh Oh they're playing from the beginning, this can only mean bad things, this game doesn't start strong, there's far more stuff to do and unlock when you're done with the main quest if you can call it that.
 
Wow the differences between this and the European version are surprising me.

The beginning of this game sure is awkwardly animated, and written...

Ha that is odd, in the European version of the game the girl is called Océane and her and Jean-Eric their family name is Rouvier and not Louvier. 
 
Their company is called R&R in the European version.
 
Wonder why Akira ended up bastardising those names for the US version.
 
Same goes for the US boxart having dolphins on it and not whales.

Man, the Jeff and Ryan Quick Looks are starting to become 30 minutes of stupid voices and unfunny jokes.

There is just too much ocean, so much so it could be considered endless.

I have no clue what happened in that video even though I watched it all the way through.
