Quick Look: Excitebots: Trick Racing

I'm first on line to buy this.

Although it hasn't improved from exite turcks other than gameplay... Too much recycling from the old game, it's the only thing I dislike about it.

I enjoyed Excite Truck, my bro just bought this.  By the way, turbo jumps are done by hitting turbo right as you get into the air, anywhere.  Including off rocks.

Those robots don't look very excited.

I have a feeling that this game is what they intended to make instead of Excite Truck. It's like the truck game was the tech demo of the bots game.

btw, Just like Excite Truck, you will have much more fun when you're familiar with the controls.

I was wondering if the water part still held true.  I hope 2 player isn't just relegated to minigames?  But I guess since I can play online I can live with that.

To activate two player, wifi, minigame and poker mode you have to beat the first cup. You need B rankings.

Wow, that's some tight unlocking conditions. I can imagine that getting really frustrating on higher difficulties or just later on in other races.

Looks pretty fun. I'm disappointed by the lack of Super Sandwich in this Quick Look though. It would have been fun to see them react to that.

It looks pretty fun actually. It looks like the driving is a bit disappointing as it was in Excite Truck, but the game is all about getting stupid air.

No nunchuck support? The game looks so, so janky in the control department, just like Excite Truck.

This is pretty much all the awesomeness of Excite Truck with weird robot bugs and animals. I'm on board with that!

Looks like a lot of fun, finally something interesting for the Wii. I just wish I had the money to pay for it what with all the other awesome looking games coming out this Summer...

believe it or not, i actually bought a wii in large part because of excite truck. that game was a ton of fun. this game just seems...confusing..

That looks okay! Kinda like Motorstorm Lite. But is up with having to slog through single-player before you can do 2-player? And where's the couch multiplayer? This is on the Wii, right?
