Yeah, that's the part of the video I latched onto.

at one point some years ago brad got all serious about learning to read some of it. but i don't think that lasted long. and i think he's forgotten what little he did learn by now. the guys still sometimes ask him to decipher it though, which i find hilarious. he will make a small show of trying to figure it, say, "uh..." then quietly walk away. :p

Then later...

Listening to Jeff play sudoku is oddly soothing.

Mahjong is roughly like poker. You build sets and discard tiles. You pick tiles from the wall and discard tiles you don't want. You can also pick tiles other players have discarded.

There's a balance between building a set without giving they other players the tiles they want. So there's a bit of bluffing and figuring out what the other players have.

There are millions of different rule sets, so it's pointless to be too detailed, since it will differ from rule set to rule set. But the basics are the same.

So $30 for a tutorial mission with side ops pack in? Remember when the Tanker mission just strait up came with MGS2, and how the Virtuous Mission just came with MGS3? I guess games must be damn expensive in this day and age, especially when you have a tv and film actor to say all those lines.

When did eroge get so mainstream? Why is there such an oversaturation of waifu games or waifu mechanics into just about everything? It feels like around the time that anime started becoming largely slice of life and cute girls doing cute things, a lot of Japanese games started adapting the same properties.

I don't understand Japan anymore. Send help.
