When I saw the character models, for a second I had a flashback to whatever that awful, awful wrestling game Jeff and Dan did a Quick Look of a while ago.

Dan was on his best behavior. His best behavior is (almost) terrible.

Great QL. I love the look of this game, but no online kills it for me.

Played this at EGX Rezzed. Was so much fun. One character was super OP though so I wonder if they balanced. Looking forward to the cartoon too.

I really sympathize with Dan when it when it comes to trash talking. Thats how everyone I knew played games like this back when I was younger. Hell my friends even made a trophy for when we played Mario Kart 64 just so we could have bragging rights and rub it in. Getting into each others head was just part of the competitive experience.

I think Jason and others who give Dan a hard time for how he acts come off as prudes to me.

Here's a pet peeve of mine: Adding an adjective like 'huge' to a noun like 'pet peeve'. I mean, can someone give me an actual definition of a 'huge pet peeve'?

It's either annoying or really annoying.

really annoying = infuriating

you can usually replace "very" "really" with a stronger sounding word instead.

Just to be clear, what I'm saying is that by adding those kind of adjectives then it's no longer just a pet peeve.

As a big fan of Powerstone this looks pretty damn cool, but I'm with them on being pissed about there not being a 4-player versus mode.

Is "new" Dan just trolling again? Probably not, but who knows. After years of playing with someone who has more fun being annoying than playing a game most of the time, it's hard to let go of your preconceptions of that person.

The fact you throw the trophy for winning round one is great.

The characters look super boring and generic in this one. Or rather the artstyle. One of the reasons why I liked Power Stone were the weird and colorful characters.

Always funny when Jason has to mention he's not playing to win after he is losing.

Perfectly acceptable couch fighting game trash talk. Maybe Jason should just be better.

@clockwork_saint: I've said a few times on here that I struggle to see who real Dan is. He loves being a dick to people so much that it confuses me when he acts normally or even kindly to people. Every time he fervently denies that he plays a character it just makes it worse.

Overall, it seems like it creates no real intra-workplace drama and some people love watching people act like assholes, so it works out for the best, I guess.

That guy has a moonwalk as part of his normal combo. This game's alright.
