Quick Look: NBA Baller Beats

I think what shocks me the most is that someone actually pitched this game to a publisher and they actually bit. The mechanic seems like it is workable for a rhythm game but the whole set up is just completely impractical for the vast majority of kinect owners. Its impossible to play on most carpet and if a person does have a hardwood floor why would they want to ruin it by dribbling? That means you have to take it outside or in a garage and who the hell is going to do that, let alone do it over and over. I cant see this game making any money at all

This game seems to work a lot better than I thought it would. Some of it appears a bit half-baked, but then, for such an impractical Kinect game, it may just be more than it ever had any right of being.

Worried enough about litigation and regulation to strip the word "Bullets" from Another One Bites the Dust. Not worried enough about litigation and regulation to discourage children from playing basketball right next to expensive consumer electronics.

(Also, I wish I had a basketball court kinect room in my house, because this looks super fun).

This looks like a great work out... But of course if you have the room and appropriate surfaces to do it.

Too bad the game doesn't look like a thing I would ever want to go near and they didn't play the Janelle song.

This game looks so ridiculously stupid and unnecessary.

I dunno, looks pretty cool. Like if you had an open space infront of the TV, and somewhat solid flooring, it would be fun. Something different. I don't meet any of those requirements and I don't own a kinect though.
