I don't understand why they're being so weird about first person mode. I prefer it, no peeking around corners.

I'm starting to think Jeff played a single game of FPP, was confused by everything as you are when trying out something new, then sucked so bad he blamed FPP and swore it off to everyone else.

FPP isn't bad at all, controls exactly the same, it doesn't feel like Call of Duty or Battlefield, but it still feels great. It isn't like GTA V first person where the controls and movement are actually horrible for a first person perspective. In some ways it sucks, like driving vehicles without having the awareness in TPP. But it is so much better when it comes to awareness being so much more fair. If a guy sees you, you are able to see them as well. No peeking out of windows or around corners while being completely safe. For guys who have been saying they like to get spicy, they sure like to play a mode that promotes camping corner peekers and bathroom wieners. This was extremely evident when they had the invitational a few months back. The matches played in FPP were just so much more entertaining while TPP was a wall-hugging corner-peeking camp fest.

Oh man the last twenty minutes of this do not disappoint. Hilarious and amazingly tense. I have no interest in playing this because it's not my kind of thing (and also I have no friends) but if GB had more streams of this I would definitely tune in.

Great video but not even giving first person mode a try is a bit weird. Their (Jeff’s) animosity to it is very strange. It’s great! No bullshit camera peaking. Hats off to Vinny for suggesting it though; Jeff’s dismissal of it clearly shows he hasn’t given it a proper go.

As soon as I tried first person, I haven’t looked back (with camera peaking).

Yeah it's bizarre. PUBG in third person is a cheap mess, it totally promotes camping and you'll often find yourself stuck behind a corner as you and another guy fight not with guns, but with fucking camera angles.

Disappointed. I thought I knew these Giantbombers. I thought they were really cool dudes. But then Vinny, Brad and Abby turn into narcs without a second thought. I bet they worked cigarette stings in their youth. Alex and Jeff's silent disapproval hints that this sort of behavior isn't uncommon in the office.

Third person mode is for scrubs.

So with this new map not being an island, does that mean murder island can never return??????

Good to see they still have an uncanny ability to be in a good ambush position only for unaware enemies to roll up on them and kill them all.

Oh man this was so much fun. Playing with the gang is awesome! I almost grabbed that chicken dinner, but choked so hard when there was only one left.

Imagine getting the rare privilege to do a cool fun thing with the staff/community.

And then going ahead with your decision that you need to cheat.

All the while, some of us have still yet to ever get into a game.
