I really enjoyed seeing Dan trying his hardest to keep himself from backseat driving towards the end there. Good job, Dan.

That being said Abby should really be reminded about the melee attacks, all those staggered enemies not getting a roundhouse is driving me up the wall!

@ybbaaabby Kiwi skin is totally edible. I used to avoid them before I knew this since they were cumbersome to cut and peel. It tastes like any other fruit skin.

I haven't played RE4 since the GC but can you buy ammo from the merchant? Because it's looking a bit grim at the moment. It probably doesn't help that she's playing this once a week for couple of hours, you can't easily get used to the olden third person controls of the game that way.

@csl316: I don't hate the later parts of this game by any stretch, but I definitely think it hits its stride at the castle. But then, Krauser is awesome, and Regenerators are the scariest thing from this era of games, bar none as far as I'm concerned. Maybe remove the island, extend the other sections by a little, and then Krauser and Regens make an earlier appearance? Oh, and you'd need the laboratory sections to be in the castle as well; that's like Mikami law that it follows the village/city, to enclosed large area, to lab formula.

EDIT: I also very much appreciate the continuation of this series. I love seeing more of Jeff and Abby's oddly composed terror is fantastic to watch.

I eat kiwis with their skin. It's not that much weirder than eating a peach. Only slightly fuzzier.

I think Abby could be sold on Metal Gear if she were just shown the Snake Eater Intro.

The crew probably aren't aware, but there is a bug for the PC version of RE4 that is causing Abby to miss these QTE's. Basically, the QTE's are balanced around 30 fps, and they are running the game at 60 fps. This translates to needing to be twice as fast to hit the QTE's. It's essentially like playing on Professional, maybe even a tad harder.

I know this because I played through it on PC as well, and got up to the mine cart sequence before realizing something was up and had to google it. The knife fight is also pretty brutal.

This needs to be a series. Jeff every episode too.

I'm calling out the chat member who told Abby the Green Catseye was fine to sell because "the mask it goes into was already sold". First, the Green Catseye goes in the Beerstein, not the mask (though she's already missed one Catseye anyway, so the Beerstein is not optimal). Second, even if it did go in the mask, you get a second later in the game. QED

Also, while this is hopefully obviously a joke, it does feel liberating to use this otherwise useless garbage info I have clanging around in my head.

Honestly, the main fun in this series is seeing Dan twist himself into knots in reaction to Abby's playing

So if Abby is going to continue playing every other RE game, does that mean RE6 is next?

Im loving these RE4 streams, but i couldn't help to look like Dan at 1:26:07 many times. Her sensitivity is too high, she seems to forget that you can turn the camera when you run, she still doesnt know when you can kick enemies and read animations (like at the boss)... It isn't the worst, and she's just learning offcourse, but it made me too tense xD
