It's so weird how Contradiction was full of cheesy acting that worked because it seemed self-aware and this... just seems like bad acting?!

I do wish they'd make the teased Contradiction sequel (at least teased at the end of the first game), but I'm honestly just happy to see that they're keeping this little dream in the air.

This was great the whole way through but 'Chamber of Bones' pushed it over the edge - please play through this on the site!

This feels like ten times more dialogue than Contradiction. Low budget Bandersnatch.

I think after Contradiction the developers asked them not to do full playthroughs on the site. But if I'm wrong, this should definitely be continued.

They fully embraced them playing and the actor of Jenks and one of the women actors made a video thanking them and the community.

Throwing my hat in the pile that says "please play this whole game" I will do like I did with Contradiction and buy the game, scout's honor

The Beasters have a gift for wrapping up the FMV bits after "one more thing" and then having that one more thing be a total game changer. In Contradiction it was the horns on the tree, and here it's the bone chamber.

The guy's shocked reaction at 26:35 is the exact moment I came around on his character and the game as a whole.

Like everyone else, I'd love a full playthrough of this. Of course, I can absolutely understand the grey area of doing a full playthrough of a still-new FMV, since the story literally IS the game. But I also feel like the weird charm of games like this actually come through a lot better in longer-form videos. For example, I wasn't particularly impressed with the short bit of this game I saw in the Friday stream, but watching this longer bit of it has sold me on there being something pretty fun here.

Like all the other FMV games, you guys have to fully play through this

Vinny and Alex, just finish the game on stream at this point. I am way too far into this story to start over.

Yeah, like on the one hand GB playing through something like Until Dawn is probably of minimal impact, because also eventually a bunch of other streamers played through it and it had a reasonably big marketing budget and hopefully did alright financially. Twitch streamers also seem to love doing playthroughs of Detroit: Become Human, A Way Out, It Takes Two, etc., and hopefully I guess the devs/publishers think that doesn't eat into their sales too much.

Contradiction, Dark Side of the Moon, etc. are so low budget that they benefit from any games press coverage anywhere and will probably see minimal play on Twitch, but if GB plays through the game entirely I really wonder how many people buy the game vs. think of it as a fun series on GB but never think about the game again. It's a bit of a double-edged sword to give coverage to a small dev but actually it becomes so much coverage that there's really no reason for the audience to buy the game because they've seen it all.

Also I remember the chat/comments on the UPF where they played this were real lukewarm on it, but man everybody in the comments section is real horny for that full playthrough all of a sudden.

the love hate relationship with these fmv games is strong! .. i hate playing them but boy do i love watching vinny play them. i'm with the others in hoping there'll be more of this possibly a playdate.

I love that FMV is still a thing and that there are some developers that understand why it's an interesting mechanic. Or at least appear to understand why.
