@sessh: Dan had the tension set so high that I imagine it was not dissimilar to riding up a hill with a challenging grade, and he wasn't pacing himself. It's tough and is very different from running!

@larmer: I wouldn't think that she would classify as transgender? It's like the kicker was in hiding from being shamed by everyone by becoming a woman.

I like that Dan said his teeth are sensitive to cold. That's probably from the enamel on his teeth being destroyed from 1000 cans of soda a day he drinks.

I think the backlash from the community against balance changes in Galaxy of Heroes is an interesting discussion.

There's a HUGE push from the Hearthstone community to make changes to cards more quickly/frequently and I think they'd get the same push back if they did. Someone spends $250 on packs to get a legendary only to have it be nerfed the next week? I imagine the backlash would be huge as well. At least in Hearthstone you can disenchant after a nerf for full value.

@charoftheflame: In my experience, a lot of people in a community push for changes that end up destroying the fun of whatever they play, because they don't see/care about the side effects.

I would hate to have to balance any sort of competitive multiplayer game, because the signal to noise ratio would be so low.

Dan's segment is a beautiful disaster.

Funny story, I had my nose cauterized to stop the nose bleeding. They numbed me and I didn't feel a thing. Haven't gotten a nose bleed since.

@brad painted world is actually designed in a way that you can circumvent most of the content / fights inculding the boss fight. It's build that way so you actually can't get stuck in it.

Ace Ventura Proving She's A Man!

Here you go. Watch that scene and try telling me that all those police officers are puking and scratching their tongues in disgust because she's a murderer in disguise. Not at all because "she's a man!"

I'm not saying they're disgusted that she's a murderer in disguise, they're all throwing up because it is implied that she seduced them all like she seduced Ace Ventura. And my point was that she was posing as a woman because she was in hiding, not because she identified as transgender. I'm not trying to be insensitive I just feel like this movie from the 90's wasn't attempting to poke fun at the expense of transgender people.

@larmer It was the 90's. In spite of its' insensitivity, it was a funny movie. It can't be changed now, so pick a better hill to die on.

@fiftiethmitch: All I've been trying to say is that the first Ace Ventura really doesn't hold up anymore. It's not just the second movie that's bad when held to modern standards.

That would be so good. I was just about to comment that I really appreciate Drew giving time to games like Aurion and those Iranian games from a couple of months back.
