    Avoit it!

From the hours i've played the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Sith Edition on the pc, i am far disappointed with the outcome.

The story is the same as the previous releases on the ps3, xbox, ds, psp and wii, with slight variations, similar of what happen between the ps3 and xbox version and the wii and ps2.  Some scenes appear differently, others are added to complete and add entertainment.

The new dlcs are brief and without much interest as they appear ludicrous, like the many martial artists wampas on Hoth, and the story to them is predictable and open ended, to leave multiple interpretations, and maybe, just maybe, open the door to the Force Unleashed 2.

There are also only two new costumes in the game, that direct relate to the new dlc levels (Tattoine and Hoth).

The game also suffers from constant slowdowns, appearing sometimes like a slideshow, destroying the sense of immersion and of fast and fluid battles. And loooong loading screens that will let you watch for about two minutes the stars on the background.

Besides that, this crappy port doesn't allow changes to the graphics, except for resolution.

About controllers it only accepts two kinds: keyboard and mouse or xbox gamepad. If you have any other you're probably out of luck, as it will fail to acknowledge that.

The controls are much worse than the console, as they use both the mouse and the keyboard, making it far more complicated to build combos and really enjoy the gameplay. Also quick-time events are harder to follow properly, as it alternates keys between the keyboard and the mouse, making it confusing.

Using the xbox controller it responds well, similar to the xbox360 version.

The auto targeting system also appears worse than on the original game, completly devoiding of interest the use of force powers, unless to avoid eminent death.

If you have any console version, avoid this like the black plague, because, instead of making you more interested about the game universe and playing the game, it will probably help to destroy it. Wait for the dlcs instead. Or buy the Sith Edition for the consoles.

But if you have a combative and masochist attitude, or you're an star wars hardcore fan, rent it or buy it and then return it in the next days, as you'll probably won't find it all that enjoyable to play.

The game is a rushed and mediocre port by Aspyr of the xbox360/ps3 version of the game. Sad because the game underneath this pile of rubble is interesting and enjoyable, but that disappears fast with the numerous issues and annoyances of this version.

The rest that i didn't mention it's like the xbox and ps3 counterparts.

     Bottom line: avoid it!

      Mashing X: The Game 0

I found myself repeatedly mashing the ‘X’ button, mindlessly slashing my way through countless waves of Stormtroopers. The action would be abruptly interrupted by an incoming cinematic, a signal of poor design. A game of hallways and pointless collectibles always awaited me every time I booted up the 2008 software, reminding me of an archaic design that may not be too appealing in the world eight years later. Freaky faces always took precedence over a respectable art style that would...

      Lame and buggy 0

I didnt have very high hopes for this one. The reviews said it all. The story was great, but everything else was subpar and barely worth your time. Now this was on the consoles, so when they ported(not brought, ported) to the PC it was done in a sloppy manner. There are NO graphics options, the game has to load between menus, and the framerate caps out at 30 FPS. The controls are at least adapted to the PC, which is nice I guess. On top of all this, the game just isnt that fun! I felt bored hone...
