@Atlas: Will do, thanks! Just bought Oddbox and Orcs Must Die.

Steam Autumn Sale!

@Khadyn: Triple A games less than two months old NEVER get substantial discounts during Steam sales. I'm sure the publishers would crucify Vale if they sold Skyrim for 50% off. Same applies to Modern Warfare 3 and Saint's Row the Third.
I'm expecting/hopeful for significant discounts - 50% or more - for Rage, Dead Island, NBA2K12, Might & Magic: Heroes VI, Driver: San Francisco and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Also, I would consider Football Manager 2012 if it gets a price cut of 50% or better.
Yeah they won't go on Substantial sales. Skyrim will go 25% off for the XMAS sale. Not that it won't have dropped to that price in retail outlets by then.
I like it a lot. It's a bit clunky and pretty hard and the enemies are doesn't level with your character. The world is not black and white. Is Risen any good? the demo seemed ok.
It's a solid 4 star game

@Koobasta: Always, ALWAYS, wait for Daily Deals. Unless it's on a Daily Deal, don't buy anything until the last day of the sale.
But I want all the FO:NV DLC now :(
Valve needs more internetz.
Second day of sales is up and apparently La Noire is only 25 bucks now, not a bad price, Heres the rest of the daily deals
vvvvvvvvvvvvvv 1.25 bucks
Rift- $7.49
Two worlds 2- $13.59
Sniper ghost warrior- $5.99
Red orchestra 2- $20
Fallout new vegas- $5
total war mega pack- $12.50
Zeno clash- $3.75
Rollercoaster tycoon platnium- $10
Monkey island bundle- $5
operation flashpoint franchise sale- $11.25
I have a pretty shitty laptop and think I picked up all the steam games that will run well on my computer, but big ups to anyone who pops into this thread and mentions some decent games that would run on Intel HD garbage.

I would say the deal for L.A. Noire is even sweeter considering that it's the 'Complete Edition' which includes all of the DLC previously released for consoles.
Personally, I haven't bought anything from the sale yet, but I'm mostly waiting to see what each of the daily deals are before buying some smaller games.
EDIT: Turns out, the PC port of L.A. Noire is pretty shabby. Keep that in mind before making a purchase!
@artgarcrunkle: Out of the daily deals, get vvvvvv and rollercoaster tycoon 3 because if I remember, intel hd only has 64 mb of vram so that limits alot of the games you can buy. Look into the indie section for good games and check out the humble introversion bundle happening right now.
@Brunchies: Thanks for the heads up. Mine can use like up to a gig of ram but obviously it's still not a great way to play games. No problem running Source games and the STALKER series at 20+ fps though.
Already bought Second Sight out of pure nostalgia. Also, Trauma, Puzzle Indie Pack, and Puzzle Agent. Might buy Two Worlds II and the exapansion, but I also might put that off until the Holiday Sale. Also thinking about getting some other games like The Path, The Club, Kane and Lynch, and Zen Bound 2, just waiting to see if any of them will be cut a little more. Can anyone recommend some good card, puzzle, board, or hex based games on Steam?
I remember during the Steam Summer Sale, Vinny talked about how he doesn't really get excited about the sales anymore because he owns most everything he wants, and I'm close to getting to that point. Looking at today's deals, anything that I found truly compelling I've already bought. Hrm.
@whistlebottom: You might enjoy Runespell: Overture puzzle guest style poker game. 75% off

ok guys i need help. Which of the Fallout New Vegas DLC is worth skipping(the story based dlc, not the item dlc), or are all of them worth buying.Skip Blood Money, buy the rest.
Is that the first one? Because the first one was absolutely horrible, my save is still halfway through it.

Yeah it's pretty crappy. Honest Hearts was cool for expanding the story more, learning more about Caesar's rise, and you get pretty cool .45 caliber weapons, like an M1911 and a tommy gun. Old World Blues is just insane, wacky and fun, and Lonesome Road expands New Vegas' story, more specifically that of your playable character.

Speaking of B-level games, does anyone have an opinion on Two Worlds II?
