T-Hawk is a punk

Im surprised how well my PC ran the SF4 benchmark. It managed to retain great visual quality despite not being on the highest settings. Capcom have really optimized the game.

Oy...why these two and NOT Ibuki/Karin or ANY other character from Alpha/SF3?

I hate T-Hawk he's a punk ass.

I'm pretty sure that T. Hawk and Dee Jay are everyone's least favorite Super Turbo characters.

I never understood the hate for T-Hawk and Dee Jay. Seriously, casuals are just too shallow when it comes to fighting game characters.

And character DLC won't happen.

More characters, plz.

im a man who loves me some dee jay.  hopefully this is true, and if they charge for it...please don't be $5.00. 

They're definitely the two worst characters from 2.  So no rush.

Hopefully SFIII characters will become apart of SFIV.

I'm hoping it's just leftover. They've said in interviews that they'll add costumes and other stuff like that where it doesn't split the user base in a meaningful way, but stuff like new characters would be off-limits.

I dont see why a benchmark tool is silly, seems like always a good idea, like that benchmark tool that came out on steam a while back for HL2.  I guess that a demo could fill this and be playable, but before the release, still pretty good.

might as well do Rainbow Mika if T. Hawk is making the cut for a DLC. If they are going to upset the balance, then might as well go for broke.

SF4's story is set between SF2 and 3 I believe.  So the possibility of SF3 characters being included are null.

Lame characters are lame. Given the rich vein of characters they could draw from, those two seem like the worst possible choices :(

If the characters are well balanced and fit in with the others, I'm all for it. I used D-Jay a bit in the past, and for some reason he was one of the few charge characters I could get  handle on.

On a side note I got an A Rank on my laptop from the benchmark and am now seriously considering getting a PC version of this game so I can play on the go.

I don't like either character, but they pretty much said if there is enough interest they will finish them. But as of right now, it's leftover audio, I mean they said they had the characters preliminary models done without textures and some of their animations, it stands to reason they would have gotten the announcer guy to spend 2 minutes doing the announcing for them seeing as at the time they probably didn't know they were gonna cut them.

Yea I could care less about Hawk, Dee Jay I might want to see though.
They should bring SF III chracters to IV.
Actually, Ibuki would be biggest character I would want to see make an apperance...Oro would be good too.

Man, I got a C rank in that benchmarking tool. I used medium settings (turned down AA and lowered the least essential shadowing) on a core 2 duo 6700 and a nvidia 8800GTS. It seems it is time for an upgrade.

I would like to play as Dee Jay, although, I never really got into mastering T. Hawk.

this game absolutely FLIES on my rig, even with maximum settings. It actually looks like it's going too fast O_o

Nothing wrong with a benchmark tool, Jeff...or maybe your own PC can't handle the game. :P

Anyway, I'm sure T.Hawk and Dee Jay will be included in the inevitable SF4 expansion.

@Llama : If the game is too fast, you might have turned off V-Sync.  Keep it turned on to cap the frame rate at 60 FPS.

Maybe they will finally include some SFIII characters in the game. Dee Jay and T. Hawk are ehhh IMO.

T-Hawk is so awful, I hope they choose someone else to add...

I would love it if they added new ultras and make them selectable like SF3. 

When I first saw "T. Hawk", the first thing I thought was "Tony Hawk is in this game!?!". (I'm not a fighting fan, so I didn't know this T. Hawk was another character.) Needless to say I was woefully disappointed.

I don't get the hate for T.Hawk and Dee Jay.  They were in SF2, and we already got Cammy and Fei Long, so why not add the rest of the World Warriors?  Their inclusion would only add more variety.

I will say though, that I'd like to see some brand-new characters for the expansion in addition to Hawk and Dee Jay.

I'd rather see third strike characters. Makoto is my darling <3
