    Overview

The Rub Rabbits is a Nintendo DS game released in Japan on October 20, 2005, in North America on February 7, 2006, and in Europe on February 10, 2006. Developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega, it was set up as a sequel to the previous entry in the series, Feel the Magic XY/XX, and kept much of the mini-game centric gameplay.

    Gameplay

The mini-games that populate much of the gameplay of The Rub Rabbits! stem from strange situations in pursuit of a love interest. The game starts off in typical fashion of the protagonist falling in love with a woman and trying to prove that love to her through gameplay. Much of the mini-games make extensive use of the Nintendo DS's various features such as the microphone, the touch screen, and the ability to turn the DS into different positions: sideways, where the DS resembles a book, or upside down, so the top screen and touch screen are in reverse positions.

The game also includes a wide variety of modes including Story, Another Story, Memories (a standard level select feature), Connect (a multiplayer feature), Maniac (a feature to dress-up the love interest), Attack (a time trial mode for certain mini-games), Baby Making (a strange mode where you and a partner enter personal information and cut a cake to make a baby), and Hullabaloo (a form of DS hot potato).
