Thomas Nagano, sometimes simply Tommy, is a translator and musician formerly working for Konami. He is currently employed by the taxi company Ofuna Chuo.
Perharps most famous for having taken the stage twice during Konami's infamous E3 2010 press conference, once to present Dance Masters and once to present NeverDead, Nagano is also known to dub translations of Japanese-speaking Konami developers in interviews.
Although Naoki Maeda introduced Nagano as "Tommy, who is working with me on this project", this may simply have been to avoid complicated explanations at the conference. Thomas Nagano is seemingly only credited in NeverDead and not in Dance Masters. Despite this, Nagano appears to have personal connections with developers and producers of DDR fame in addition to Maeda: at a Dance Masters event in connection to TGS 2010, Nagano, under the alias of MC Tommy, took the stage to rap for a short while together with Japanese musician of DDR fame D-Crew. The event is recorded in its entirety at Ustream, with Nagano appearing at around eighteen minutes in.
In early June of 2016, Nagano released footage of himself appearing in concept footage for the Japanese taxi company Ofuna Chuo, referring to the company as his. This appears to confirm that Nagano has left the video game industry.
