Police are paid protectors who enforce the law through legal use of force. They are supposed to help ensure public safety and social order. Their motto is to protect and to serve.
The police chase consists of the police chasing someone; usually by car. Sometimes the player plays as the guy getting chased and sometimes as the police.
Games where the main character, or most/all of the playable cast, are or were members of traditional law enforcement.

A function or button that allows players to skip a difficult section of a game entirely.

Using stealth often requires the player to accomplish their objective without being detected by enemies. Methods of detection can vary from game to game, and can be based on an enemy's line of sight, how quiet the player is, or even how the player interacts with the environment.
NPCs that populate strip club locations in games and often perform exotic dancing routines.
A paramilitary special force of police used to handle exceptionally dangerous criminals.
A common type of mission in games that requires the player to follow an NPC without being detected. Follow too closely and the NPC might spot the player, but drop too far back and the NPC might get away. The player may have to follow in cars, boats, or on foot.
Games set in, or focused primarily around, the years between 2000 and 2009.
An organized crime syndicate often consisting of members with shared ethnic backgrounds or cultural beliefs.
Chinese organized crime group.
Many games that feature a theft mechanic also include a some form of risk or punishment. Other games just let players steal things as if it's a perfectly normal thing to do.
The player character is seen at a distance from a number of different possible perspective angles. There is generally a movable camera but it can also be in a fixed position. It most commonly refers to a viewpoint behind the player character.
Extra objects, characters, or content in a game that can only be accessed after completing a certain task such as completing the game, or by using cheat codes.
Weapons can often be upgraded with new attachments, augmentations, or magical enchantments. These upgrades result in the original item being more powerful than originally intended.
Games with vehicles that can be controlled. This applies to games that AREN'T focused on just driving, but just happen to have a vehicle segment or the ability to pilot one.
