I was into the Live Action stuff, but the Game part just looked like Halo, which I do not like.

New From PlatinumGames: Vanquish
I have no idea what this is going to be like as a game, but Shinji Mikami made some of the greatest games of the last generation, so my interest is quite peaked.
Look decent, with a chance to be pretty good. Knowing Mikami, it'll actually have a plot, which will help a lot. Need to know a bit more about the characters, the gameplay and the camera angles before I'm really psyched, though, because it currently looks like the "next generation" of space marines in the same sense that Avatar is the "next generation" of sci-fi: making the experience more immersive but overall less effective.
"Peaceful nation". LOL, right...
As for the game itself, kinda looks like Halo being revamped. I'll have to wait for some actual gameplay footage to further comment upon it.
" Mass Effect 2 pretty much killed other sci-fi games for me. Nothing will ever top that. Well maybe Mass Effect 3 :-)This.
Hey look, it's a Master Chief-esque dude sent to retaliate for the destruction of a major United States city. God knows we've never seen this before. YAWN.
I've already got Halo thanks. Also, nothing against America or Americans, but what is it about it always solely being Americans that defend earth?
What about Russia, Germany, France, Britain or China?
These are the other super powers that seem to be forgotten or made into the occupiers of innocent countries. (you don't have to say anything about the past Germany in world war 2, I'm talking of recent/futuristic in-game Allied forces not past enemy Nazi forces.)
Now don't get me wrong, I like Americans, I've got several American freinds over Xbox Live. It just seems like thats all we get.
Thank goodness for Metro 2033 I guess.
To further make my point, why do all aliens in the Mass Effect Universe have American accents? I mean the universal translator will translate to our own personal languages but not accents. Shouldn't it?

I'm American and totally agree. I'd like to see other countries represented in space federations that represent all of earth. It really is pretty weird. Also Tali is not speaking with an American accent... I'm not going to show my ignorance by trying to guess what it is... but I'm certain it isn't American.
The still shot on the main page reminds me of the music video for Radiohead's "No Surprises".
That is all.

....awful joke (ignore post)
It reminded me of a more clean future GunValkyrie style game.
