I disliked Saints Row 2, but was excited to try 3 when it ended up getting a ton of great reviews. Thanks to PS+ I finally played through SR3. Really glad I did too. There are still some issues, but man it was some of the most fun I'd had in gameplay missions ever. Playing 4 at some point is likely going to happen now.

Really hope "The Blood" radio station is just as great in 4. The Adult Swim station was pretty great too!

Plus, they never found his body in saints 3, you never saw his body, you never even saw him get killed, you just heard him presumably get shot then an intercom went dead.

You people are assuming logic exists where there is non. This is Saints Row. He is back because Gat is Fucking awesome. Probably like he was under cover fighting the aliens, or he was abducted, or he was dead and brought back to life by alien technology.

Being a clone, by the standards Saints Row has set for themselves, is just too predictable.

It's funny, all through playing 3 I kept waiting for him to come back because the way he went out, at the beginning on an intercom, seemed way too much like a fake out but it never was. I hope they either have some bat shit crazy explanation for his return, or they completely gloss over it and never mention how he got where he is.

Does one need to play Saints Row 1 to appreciate Gat? I played through SR2 and SR3, but I find Gat to be too much of a "stereotypical" gang banger to find him all that interesting, yet he seems to be very well liked by fans.
