Man, War Machine is so badass, but the first Iron Man game sucked, so I find it hard to want this one.

Okey.... that seemed...unimpressive. I do want to believe that this game "won't suck". That is Segas PR:s own word from a podcast so I really hope they work hard with what they got and the time they have. If it comes at paralell with the movie it's not much time left.

They tried to hard to make the last one into a sandbox action game.... with really bad graphics, and bad controls, it just doesn't work. Not interested, cause honestly, this one looks no different.

i just don't see them doing the job they should after the last one. Arkham isn't enough to get rid of all my preconceptions about comics to movies to games games.

Arkham was good  because it wasn't based on any movie.

Oh there's a couple of good eggs.  Sunsoft's Batman for one.
No telling if they'll actually keep it tacked on there in this one.  Right now it's just to avoid Cross-Market Confusion.  Gotta be on the box art to count!

Unlike most comic movies, the whole "Avengers" initiative would seem to force directors to keep from killing off characters who are important parts of the franchise in Iron Man, Thor, etc.

I really can't overstate how much I hated the first game..  One of the worst games I have ever played, easily the worst this generation.  It is nice that the developers have admitted their mistakes, and are at least claiming they're improving everything..  
 
But nothing I've seen of this one indicates it will be any better, the gameplay still looks mind numbingly tedious.

Sadly, Terrance Howard doesn't even PLAY Rhodey in the second movie.  Some disputes with his pay led him to lose the role, and they replaced him with Don Cheadle.
