Midweek Multiplayer Madness: Friday the 13th

People responding by being shitty towards people that are being shitty is equally as bad and just results in everyone being covered in shit.

The handful of criticisms in this thread have been pretty fair, primarily focused on him being seemingly distracted/uninterested in the game, constantly swiveling the camera around making the game hard to watch, and people not connecting with his sense of humor which some find kind of snide or annoying. Watching his videos and posting feedback is giving him a chance - not giving him a chance would be people closing the web browser and going to do something else.

@ripelivejam: And I'm not really sure what your implying about Abby, like that dudes are just into her? But the girl crashing the boys club thing could have easily gone terribly wrong. She isn't the most experienced gamer it seems, but she's approached every game excited, interested, and open to the experience. And the GB audience has responded 100% with support and positivity.

@passivespiral: What I'm implying is gbeast often gets a free pass and very little in the way of criticism from the userbase.

I don't think GBeast gets a free pass, I just think a lot of people just tend to enjoy what they are doing more. Although, honestly, I never really think about East vs West. It's all just Giant Bomb to me.

Maybe because the majority of people find what is happening in New York to be a better overall product versus what the west is yawning out?

No need to be so salty Rorie. I like Rorie, but I think its rude of him to bring up his problems with the show on air. I love what Ben brings to the table, and who really cares if there's more than one type of multiplayer show? We just want content dudes. You're killing it Ben! Keep up the good work!

Thursday Afternoon Throwdown?

I'm OK with this.

I honestly didn't realize Rorie thought of his personal Twitch multiplayer streams as like, a Giant Bomb stream. They're always no warning, super late at night when Rorie is at home and not at the office, and then they're never archived on GB (which is apparently because Rorie didn't know how to add them to the site's videos). I always thought it was more like Rorie was streaming on Twitch, and just kinda hijacked the GB chat page while he was streaming.

I think the last Rorie stream with the community co-op title was the first to show up on the "coming soon" part of the front page. The others didn't. I guess that was his "debut" show.

He was obviously just jokingly being sarcastic about the situation. That's what he does.

First - It says their name right above their post in case you are confused on who they are.

Thing - You have been constantly jumping on people who critique GBWest, Brad and Ben, how it's unfair, saying it's not a competition, and people aren't giving them a chance. Then you clicked on the last GBeast stream, didn't watch it, and posted a crappy comment about it being forced wackiness. A stream where the guys were having some drinks and trying to have fun to drown their sorrow's over the anniversary of Ryan's passing - a comment which you apologized for later in the thread, but are now acting like a victim over for saying you were trashed for your opinion.

FYI - Favoritism is the preferential treatment of one party over an equal or better second party. Certain people believing that GBEast is making more enjoying content than GBWest, or vice versa, is not an example of Favoritism. Favoritism is giving a job to a family member or friend and not because they are the most qualified candidate. I'm sorry if you are unhappy people do not enjoy the thing you enjoy as much as you enjoy it.

Fun to watch this, but this game... looks bad.

Is the Jason teleport overpowered? Seemed like FlyBoy was able to just warp around all the time and catch everyone pretty easily. I have never played the game before, so I'm curious to know what someone who has put a lot of time into the game thinks.
