CE DX was my third favorite game last generation. 256 is extremely addicting for me. I can't wait for this.

The first Pac Man CE was a better game. DX and DX+ are great game(s), but they are too linear. The ghost lines are awesome, but the whole game hangs on them, and if you deviate, you get this unpleasant feeling like the whole game is out of synch.

The original CE, in addition to simply being the transcendent foundation DX was built on top of, also had a perfect mix of "here's the optimal path - follow the dots" and "it's a maze, play the maze, and don't feel bad about free-forming it."

DX. Too linear. Here's hoping that there are many modes in "2" and not just a one-trick that overpowers the whole game.

Also, bosses? Puzzles? Side-eyeing...

It's been nearly 3 years since I met my wife, and one of the first things we did together was score chase every weekend that winter on Highway 5 minutes. We were so stoked to start reaching a million points consistently.

Hope this one lives up to high bar set by the previous games.

2016's looking like a really good year - between this, DOOM, pokemon go, tiny NES, and VR - this is the heyday of this generation.

(I actually got bored of CE DX super quickly due to its very repetitive gameplay loop, but I still love that loop for the brief time it holds my interest.)

I missed the first one but have heard of it's legend. I've been tempted to buy it on my ps3 more than a few times.
