Hmmm those dumb ass air drums took out a lot of their authenticity stuff.....but they have Kid Rock. Oh well this stuff is dead in the water with Rock Band 3 now.

Trailer seemed a bit arrogant with its message tbh. 
 
I still dont care for these types of games. Playing my real instruments and not being limited by anything is still more fun to me. 
 
But i guess this could be good for people who like these games? Unless it becomes too complicated for them. Although the fan base for rock band/guitar hero is so large, it would probably be difficult to shift them away towards something else.

Man, that drum setup looks dumb. It's nice that the thing is easy to store, but I still would rather use my Rock Band 2 kit with the triple cymbal expansions.

The Hives actually do Rock it Real.  Those stupid space drums and Kid Rock do NOT Rock it Real.

Be careful Rock Band.  Airstrike drums are even more realistic than your drums.  Plus the interface is SO much better, and those animations?  Damn.  They should just halt production of all other music games so they can quit before it's too late.

The recently announced Rock Band 3 definitely DESTROYED this game. 

Those are some fighting words, it'll be interesting to see if they can deliver.

I was with them up until the air drums. The real guitar looks cool but the air drums just look stupid.

Ugh, the interface they have reminds me of Rock Revolution. Also, the game looks stupid, Rock Band 3 is doing something similar to their "real guitar," and it has... gasp... drums you can actually hit. And a library of over 100 songs ahead of theirs...

Notice how they don't show off too much of the actual game...man those graphics are bad.

Hate to hate and I know the Bombcast covered this in depth but going out of your way to make the guitar experience so "real" just to turn around and add "air-drumming" to it has me absolutely baffled.
 
On the bright-side, at least the trailer looks like it cost less than a Tim and Eric skit.
