I would love more of this. This reminds me of when Deadspin would do useless rankings. I miss Deadspin. It was the best website about Sports, in the same way Giant Bomb is the best website about Video Games.

Ben not reacting to "you're going to smoke the whole Pack" (admittedly I added an implied uppercase P) was disappointing.

Also Smoke The Whole Pack is not a bad name for a multiplayer community vs Ben feature, whatever that is or however that would work. We all know the name comes first.

Danger Zone is too high on this list. It should be in the 30's with the rest of the "I'm in the mood to hear some 80's cheese" zone.

Shortly after the 80s song stuff first started, Take Me Home Tonight got stuck in my head out of nowhere, and I had been thinking about suggesting it. I like the song, but the "be my little baby" parts suck and are unnecessary.

The only music feature better than this I can think of would be the crew watching bad music videos from the early 90s/2000s. Those have always been such a treat during Demo Derby episodes.

That said, this was still great.

As someone who was a kid in the 80s, so many of these were SO bad at being blared day and night for about a month to 3 months. Alot of these would be on my own personal list.

Walk like an Egyptian, Africa, and West End Girls have KILLER instrumentals though. Not on my list.

I love Suzanne Vega, and I love the love for her, but I'd say Tom's Diner is a very mid-tier song of hers. It's no Widow's Walk

I found the Worst playlist on spotify by Jeff, and man the combination of Kid's Pop and Punk Goes whatever is great. It's a damn hot mess. I'm going to put this on at parties when I want people to leave.

In the honor of this segment, I'm going to listen to a marathon session of "Lady in Red".

What this made me realize is that a lot of songs I thought were from the 80s and would offer as suggestions are, in fact, not.

I took the decision to pause the podcast version of this pretty early on figuring it would be easier to keep up on video with the text....so glad I did Jeff's reactions to both 99 luftballoons and temporary secretary were absolutely worth it.

I love that game of the generation never happened, but we got this. Giant Bomb is the best.

Opposites Attract is great because it's so ridiculous. We Built This City is certainly terrible but oh my God it is so danceable. "MARCONI PLAYS THE MAMBA..."

Good grief Temporary Secretary. It's somehow kind of amazing? I can't believe I've never heard this before and it's not even close to being Paul McCartney's worst song.

I would like to see this list revisited and expanded perhaps featuring guests dressed in holiday sweaters

McCartney has been in his experimental phase his entire career; he is a fucking treasure. Temporary Secretary at number 2 is a balls shaking travesty.

Anything on Pretty Hate Machine that isn't Head Like a Hole (and maybe that too but 30's at highest). Also take a look around for CVS Bangers if you haven't heard of it yet, it features most of the top of this list and it's the worst

Maybe I missed something in the rules, but how can Giant Bomb miss the #9 Billboard song of 1981? The Bruckner & Garcia classic "Pac Man Fever"?

Honestly, it's weird, random stuff like this that keeps me coming back year after year (among other things of course). The recent Ben and Jan cooking show was another wonderful addition. Please never say a no to weird new features like this!
